Kakao Pay Unit Launches Child Health Risk Alerts - Yonhap

Kakao Pay Corp. (377300) insurance unit launched a child health alert service, Yonhap reported Tuesday. The service tailors notices to a child's age and region.

Kakao Pay Insurance calls the feature Child Health Alerts. It sends KakaoTalk messages about disease and environmental risks before exposure periods. The company announced the service on September 8.

The candidate report mentioned hand-foot-and-mouth disease as one of the health risks covered. It did not state a subscription price or a fixed service period. The service also uses regional information for its messages. The company's market capitalisation was ₩6.3 trillion at Tuesday's close.
