Hyundai E&C is building part of Saudi Aramco's Marjan offshore oil and gas project. On August 31 it raised the contract price to 1,664.4 billion won. The old price was 1,481.6 billion won. That is an increase of 182.9 billion won, or about 12.3%. The contract was first signed in 2019 and this is at least the seventh amendment since then. The new end date is March 2027. The filing does not explain what drove the increase.
