This is a corrected version of the interim dividend S-Oil declared the day before. The substance is unchanged: ₩800 per share on both common and preferred stock, ₩93.1bn in total, record date August 25 and payment September 15. The correction is one number — the market-price yield on the preferred class, filed as 0.0% and restated as 1.3%. The stated reason is simply "typographical correction." Against S-Oil's 2025 net income of about ₩177bn, this single interim payment absorbs more than half a year's earnings, which says more about how weak 2025 refining margins were than about any change in dividend policy. Against the ₩17.0tn market capitalization it is about 0.5%.
The original August 10 declaration of S-Oil's interim dividend, superseded the next day by a corrected filing that fixed a mistyped preferred yield. Terms: ₩800 per share on common stock and ₩800 on the preferred class, ₩93.1bn altogether, with ₩3.07bn of that going to preferred holders. Record date August 25, payment September 15. The total excludes 184,080 treasury preferred shares the company holds itself. For a refiner that earned ₩236bn of operating profit on ₩34.2tn of revenue in 2025 — a margin under one percent — a ₩93bn distribution is a substantial commitment against a thin earnings base.
The date-fixing half of S-Oil's August 10 interim dividend decision. It names August 25, 2026 as the record date for determining who receives the ₩800 per share payment declared in the companion filing, cites Article 45 of the company's articles of incorporation as the basis, and confirms that holders are identified by record date alone without any closing of the share register. Five outside directors attended and none were absent. No amount appears in this document; it exists to pin the date to the calendar so the exchange and the settlement system can work backwards from it.
