Korea Investment Holdings filed unaudited second-quarter numbers on 6 August. Revenue was ₩13,553.8bn, up 92.7% year on year. Operating income was ₩1,344.2bn against ₩585.6bn a year earlier, a rise of 129.56%. Net income was ₩998.4bn, up 84.78%, and profit attributable to owners of the parent was ₩995.9bn. For the half, operating income reached ₩2,450.5bn, up 119.74%, and net income ₩1,915.0bn, up 91.57%. Those half-year figures are 94.6% of what the company earned in all of FY2025. The filing carries a warning most readers skip: first-quarter and second-quarter revenue do not add to the cumulative figure, because unrealised valuation gains on financial assets and liabilities were adjusted when the half-year statements were prepared.
