SGC Energy (005090) signed an AI data center agreement with Vertiv Holdings, Newsis reported Tuesday. The companies will review infrastructure for SGC Energy's planned Gunsan project.
They will examine power and cooling efficiency and select equipment for the modular facility. Vertiv plans to provide its PowerNexus prefabricated system with integrated UPS and power distribution equipment. The planned installation also includes cooling distribution units and server racks.
The companies described the document as a memorandum of understanding. The report did not give a construction budget or an opening date for the Gunsan center. The company's market capitalisation was ₩0.8 trillion at Tuesday's close.
