KakaoBank Corp. (323410) launched a stock service linked to Kakao Pay Corp. (377300), Dailian reported Tuesday. The service is available inside KakaoBank's investment tab.
Customers can search Korean and overseas stocks and view investment information. They can trade through Kakao Pay Securities' web trading service and check their holdings in KakaoBank's app. The bank calls the new section Stock Home.
KakaoBank announced the launch on September 8. The service links users from the bank's app to the securities company's trading interface. KakaoBank's market capitalisation was ₩10.4 trillion at Tuesday's close.
