Celltrion, Inc. (068270) and Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster opened a biotech scale-up program, Dailian reported Tuesday. They held an information session in Tokyo on September 8.
The program will recruit biotechnology startups with technologies linked to Celltrion's work. Eligible areas include antibodies, peptides and small molecules. The partners said the program will support companies through global commercialization stages.
The Tokyo session took place at the LINK-J office. Celltrion described the project as its first public-private open innovation program with a Japanese partner. The company's market capitalisation was ₩42.6 trillion at Tuesday's close.
