HK inno.N Corporation (195940) executive Song Geun-seok received a national science and technology medal, Dailian reported Tuesday. The award recognized his pharmaceutical research work.
The science ministry presented the medal at the 2026 Technology Developers' Day ceremony on Monday. Song was one of three recipients of the science and technology medal. The report cited his role in developing K-CAB, Korea's 30th domestically developed drug.
Song has worked in pharmaceutical and biotechnology research for 33 years. The ceremony marked a national observance for private-sector technology developers. The company's market capitalisation was ₩1.1 trillion at Tuesday's close.
