HYUNDAI MOTOR CO (005380) will present its Saemangeum AI hydrogen city project at a government expo, Newsis reported Tuesday. The event opens in Busan on September 9.
The World Smart City Expo runs through September 11 at BEXCO. An official launch session will include Wonju, Cheonan-Asan and the Saemangeum project. Korea selected the first two areas in a June competition.
The Saemangeum Development Agency will represent the city project created with Hyundai Motor Group investment. The event marks the expo's tenth year and uses the theme Beyond Smart City, Toward AI City. The company's market capitalisation was ₩78.8 trillion at Tuesday's close.
