Samsung Electro-Mechanics seals a third seal 2027 MLCC deal, this one for $779m

Samsung Electro-Mechanics signed a supply contract for MLCCs (multilayer ceramic capacitors) worth ₩1,072.2bn (USD 778.9m at the August 31, 2026 rate of ₩1,376.50/$1) — 9.5% of FY2025 consolidated revenue of ₩11.31tn, a ratio the filing states directly. Like two smaller MLCC contracts the company disclosed in June and July (worth a combined ₩749.1bn), this one runs for the whole of calendar 2027 (January 1 to December 31) and the buyer's identity is sealed: the filing names it only as "a large global company" and withholds the terms under a disclosure hold citing business confidentiality, set to lift the business day after the contract ends on December 31, 2027. No advance payment is included.
