HYBE has no P/E because trailing four-quarter net income is a loss of roughly 371 billion won, even though Q2 2026 was the biggest quarter in company history at 1.45 trillion won of revenue.
Seoul Metropolitan Police referred Hybe (KRX:352820) Chairman Bang Si-hyuk to prosecutors for non-indictment consideration, concluding investigation into allegations he induced existing shareholders to sell stakes before the company's IPO by misrepresenting stock listing plans.
HYBE (352820) said in a filing dated August 25 that its board approved distributing 24,420 treasury common shares, valued at about ₩4.26bn (~$3.1m) at the reference price, to 28 executives and employees as stock-based compensation.

HYBE will transfer 24,420 of its own common shares to 28 people between September 1 and November 25 — one registered executive (3,350 shares), one unregistered executive (1,202), two affiliate executives (11,879) and 24 employees (7,989) — worth ₩4.26bn at the ₩174,600 close on August 24. The recipients are those who met the vesting conditions of the company's share-based compensation plan, and the shares move directly from HYBE's treasury account into their brokerage accounts. Dilution is 0.06% of shares outstanding. The origin matters more than the payout: the board resolved on February 12 and again on May 19 that HYBE's largest shareholder would give the company 738,246 of his own HYBE shares for no consideration, on condition they be used to reward staff at HYBE and its affiliates. That gift has completed, and these 24,420 shares come out of it. HYBE held 712,974 treasury shares before this, 619,137 of them from the gift.
HYBE is the music company behind BTS and a roster of other groups, earning money from recordings, concert tours, merchandise, and its Weverse fan platform. It owns US operations acquired through Ithaca Holdings, giving it artists and infrastructure inside the American market rather than only exporting into it. Touring cycles and mandatory military service for its biggest act cause large swings in results from year to year. It is the most searched Korean entertainment name among English-speaking audiences.
