Samsung Biologics Co., Ltd. (207940) and its labor union agreed to hold more talks, Yonhap reported Tuesday. The dispute covers wages and changes to personnel systems.
The parties will continue bargaining before a second mediation session on September 15. Their earlier discussions had not resolved the issues submitted for mediation. Yonhap reported the new meeting plan after the first mediation stage.
The report did not announce a settlement or a strike date. The next stated procedural step is the second mediation meeting on September 15. The company's market capitalisation was ₩66.7 trillion at Tuesday's close.
