The search for missing DOOSAN ENERBILITY CO., LTD. (034020) workers in Nepal expanded to four ground teams, Dailian reported Sunday. Korea South-East Power deployed 46 ground searchers around the flood-hit site and surrounding mountains.
The power generator is a subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corporation (015760), which is also involved in the search. The ground operation had used two teams with 25 members through Friday before additional local personnel joined.
Nine Korean workers remained missing, and the ground search teams included Sherpas familiar with the area's terrain. The company's market capitalisation was ₩50.7 trillion at Friday's close.
