Korean Regulator Moves Eight Financial Approval Procedures Further Online - Yonhap

Korea's financial regulator will upgrade online preliminary consultations for eight financial licensing and registration procedures from September 7. Yonhap reported Sunday that applicants will gain automatic error checks and notifications about their applications.

Documents submitted for preliminary consultation will also remain available during the main review instead of requiring separate paper submissions. The covered procedures include financial investment licenses and registrations for electronic finance, installment finance and leasing businesses.

Insurance professionals will also be able to submit registrations and changes online. NH Investment & Securities (005940): The company's market capitalisation was ₩9.8 trillion at Friday's close.
