Korean Housing Fund Records Higher First Half Investment Income - Yonhap

Korea's Housing and Urban Fund earned ₩1.1557 trillion from surplus cash investments in the first half. Yonhap reported Sunday that the figure came from data supplied to a lawmaker by the fund's administrator.

Domestic equities generated ₩803.7 billion of income, while overseas equities generated ₩227.9 billion during the same period. The fund had earned ₩614.2 billion across its investments during the whole of last year.

Its administrator said investments followed predetermined asset allocations through external managers. Mirae Asset Securities Co., Ltd. (006800): The company's market capitalisation was ₩18.7 trillion at Friday's close.
