Korean Exports Pass Last Year's Annual Total in September - Yonhap

South Korea's cumulative exports reached $709.4 billion at 1 p.m. on September 5, officials said Saturday. Yonhap reported that the figure exceeded last year's annual record of $709.3 billion by 117 days.

Semiconductor exports reached $281.2 billion through August, up 169.6% from the same period a year earlier. Chips accounted for 40.6% of exports over those eight months, according to the figures released by officials.

Passenger car exports fell 4.4% during the January through August period. SK hynix Inc. (000660): The company's market capitalisation was ₩1,203.1 trillion at Friday's close.
