Korean Retail Investors Extend ETF Purchases to Thirty Two Months - Yonhap

Korean individual investors bought a net ₩2.3756 trillion of ETFs in August, Yonhap reported Sunday. It was their thirty-second consecutive month of net purchases, according to financial data provider Yonhap Infomax.

Net purchases over that period totaled ₩128.0397 trillion, including ₩73.072 trillion during this year's first eight months. Investors added another ₩357.7 billion during September through Friday, according to the same report.

August's monthly purchases were the smallest since August last year, when net purchases stood at ₩1.3135 trillion. Korea Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. (071050): The company's market capitalisation was ₩10.5 trillion at Friday's close.
