Korean Investors Sell Chip Shares and Buy Leveraged Fund - Yonhap

Korean investors sold more than $100 million of Micron shares during September 1 through 4, Yonhap reported Sunday. They also sold $46.16 million of SK hynix Inc. (000660) depositary receipts over the same reporting period.

Net sales of Sandisk and Marvell Technology reached $68.61 million and $49.37 million respectively, according to Korea Securities Depository data. Investors bought $430.95 million of the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares ETF during those four days.

The fund provides leveraged exposure to semiconductor shares. SK hynix Inc. (000660): The company's market capitalisation was ₩1,203.1 trillion at Friday's close.
