Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. (047040) submitted its consortium's basic design for Gadeok New Airport site preparation, Dailian reported Monday. The transport ministry and airport construction authority said they received the documents following six months of design work.
A national construction technology committee will review the design's compliance with regulations and assess construction methods and equipment. The review will also examine whether the proposed construction schedule is appropriate for the project.
Detailed design work will follow procurement authorities' notification selecting the qualified contractor. The company's market capitalisation was ₩7.6 trillion at Monday's close.
