Yuhan Corporation Signs Korean Distribution Agreement With Novartis - report

Yuhan Corporation (000100) signed a Korean distribution and sales partnership for Novartis's chronic spontaneous urticaria treatment, Dailian reported Monday. The agreement covers Rhapsido, an oral medicine containing remibrutinib for adults whose symptoms remain inadequately controlled with antihistamines.

Yuhan will handle domestic distribution and promotion to hospitals and clinics under the arrangement. Novartis Korea will take responsibility for general hospitals, according to the companies' description of their respective roles.

The medicine targets Bruton's tyrosine kinase, a protein involved in the release of inflammatory substances. The company's market capitalisation was ₩5.9 trillion at Monday's close.
