KT Corporation Unit Launches Shared Payments With Individual Approval - Yonhap

KT Corporation (030200) subsidiary BC Card launched a shared payment service called Family Pay, Yonhap reported Monday. The service uses cards or money registered in its Paybooc platform and requires the group representative to approve each payment.

Paybooc members aged 14 or older can join as family members, according to the September 7 announcement. Members do not need to share card details when requesting an online payment through the new service.

Supported transactions include payments at Paybooc online merchants, railway reservations and local tax payments. The company's market capitalisation was ₩13.8 trillion at Monday's close.
