Korea Zinc Company, Ltd. Meeting Proposals Gain Pension Fund Support - Yonhap

The National Pension Service will support all three proposals at Korea Zinc Company, Ltd.'s (010130) September 9 meeting. Yonhap reported Monday that its voting committee approved support for candidates proposed by both sides of the ownership dispute.

The fund will divide its cumulative votes equally among four board candidates, giving each one-quarter of its allocation. Cumulative voting lets shareholders concentrate their votes or divide them among candidates for multiple board seats.

The pension fund also supports both opposing nominees seeking the separately elected audit committee seat. The company's market capitalisation was ₩25.5 trillion at Monday's close.
