KRAFTON, Inc. (259960) pledged another $250 million of investment in India, Korea Economic Daily reported Monday. Chairman Chang Byung-gyu made the commitment during a September 4 meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
The company plans to deploy the additional investment over three to four years across technology and talent initiatives. The new commitment matches the $250 million KRAFTON invested in India during the six years beginning in 2020.
The reported investment areas include physical AI and humanoid robots alongside the company's existing gaming activities. The company's market capitalisation was ₩10 trillion at Monday's close.
