The two discussed Daewoo E&C's existing business and possible cooperation in Vietnam. Jung named new towns, infrastructure and energy as areas for additional investment. He also requested faster administrative procedures for the Star Lake new-town project. The meeting occurred during the Hanoi mayor's visit to Korea.
Daewoo E&C said it has worked in Vietnam for more than 30 years. The company's market capitalisation was ₩8 trillion at Wednesday's close.
