Hyundai E&C Raises Gwangmyeong Redevelopment Stake to ₩959.72 Billion

Hyundai Engineering & Construction (000720) raised its share of the Gwangmyeong District 11R redevelopment contract to ₩959.72bn, the company said in a DART filing on Wednesday.

The prior amount was ₩920.80bn. Hyundai E&C holds a 70% project share, and the disclosed value excludes value-added tax. The amendment added ₩38.92bn to the contract.

The project will build 4,291 apartments and related facilities in 25 towers reaching 42 floors in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi. Construction runs from August 8, 2025 to June 7, 2029.

The revised contract equals 3.1% of Hyundai E&C's FY2025 revenue, using the financials on this site.

The filing said the project remains subject to its construction contract. The amount and schedule can change under those terms, and no advance payment applies.
