Seoul approved the architectural plan for HYUNDAI MOTOR CO (005380)'s Global Business Complex project. Yonhap reported the city committee's decision on Wednesday.
The plan includes a 49-story office complex in Samseong-dong. It also places a large urban forest and public spaces along Yeongdong-daero. A 2,000-seat performance hall and exhibition areas are part of the site plan. Seoul's architecture committee passed the project at its 16th meeting on Tuesday.
The approval covered three projects reviewed by the committee. The GBC occupies a special planning district. The company's market capitalisation was ₩79.4 trillion at Wednesday's close.
