Hyundai Motor Group Signs Africa Development Cooperation Letter - report

HYUNDAI MOTOR CO (005380)'s group signed a cooperation letter with the African Development Bank on Tuesday. Dailian reported the agreement on Wednesday.

The parties will identify projects involving electric-vehicle value chains and green hydrogen. They will also examine transport infrastructure and industrial development projects in Africa. The signing took place at Hyundai Motor Group's headquarters in Seoul. The bank provides development finance and supports investment and project development across Africa.

The agreement covers mobility and clean-energy projects. It also covers project financing cooperation. The company's market capitalisation was ₩79.4 trillion at Wednesday's close.
