Hyundai Motor Group Donates $500,000 After Nepal and Tibet Floods - report

HYUNDAI MOTOR CO (005380)'s group will donate $500,000 for flood relief in Nepal and Tibet. Dailian reported the donation on Wednesday.

The Korean Red Cross will deliver the money for local relief and recovery work. Hyundai Motor Group announced the contribution after recent flooding affected both regions. The report also cited earlier group donations after a July earthquake in Venezuela and 2025 wildfires in California.

The new contribution covers Nepal and Tibet together. It will fund relief work and damage recovery. The company's market capitalisation was ₩79.4 trillion at Wednesday's close.
