Korean Air Lines Co., Ltd. (003490)'s pilot union challenged the seniority integration plan for Asiana Airlines (020560). Dailian reported the dispute on Wednesday.

The union issued a response to the company's position on a labor mediation filing. Pilots are disputing how promotion order will be set after workforce integration. The report said corporate integration is scheduled for December. The parties had moved the disagreement into a formal labor dispute process.

The two airlines have about three months before the stated integration date. Korean Air's market capitalisation was ₩11 trillion at Wednesday's close.
