BGF Retail and Korea Post Start CU Parcel Service - report

BGF Retail (282330) and Korea Post will start a parcel service at CU stores Thursday. Dailian reported the companies' agreement on Wednesday.

Customers will leave parcels at participating CU convenience stores. Postal workers will collect the items and deliver them through the postal network. The arrangement expands acceptance locations beyond post office counters. Korea Post and BGF Retail signed an agreement covering the new service before its September 10 launch.

Postal workers will handle final delivery to recipients. The service begins nationwide on September 10. The company's market capitalisation was ₩2.5 trillion at Wednesday's close.
