LG Uplus (032640) joined four partners to develop a prefabricated modular data center standard. Newsis reported the alliance on Wednesday.
Gansam Architects signed the agreement with LG Uplus and GS Engineering & Construction Corp. (006360). Xi C&A and D&O CM also joined. The five companies held the signing at LG Uplus's Pyeongchon Mega Center on September 4. Gansam will contribute experience from 77 data center design projects.
The alliance will produce a common PMDC design model. Five companies signed the agreement. LG Uplus's market capitalisation was ₩6.3 trillion at Wednesday's close.
