IBK Staff Survey Shows 89% Oppose Headquarters Relocation - Yonhap

Industrial Bank of Korea (024110) employees opposed relocating the bank's headquarters in a union survey. Yonhap reported the results on Wednesday.

The union said 89.0% of surveyed executives and employees opposed a move outside Seoul. It released the result while political discussions continued over relocating public institutions. The supplied candidate text did not state the response count or survey dates. IBK's union presented the percentage as the view of its workforce.

The survey addressed headquarters relocation only. The union released it on September 9. The company's market capitalisation was ₩16.4 trillion at Wednesday's close.
