Samsung Biologics (KRX:207940) will invest ₩15.4 trillion over eight years to expand manufacturing and develop new modalities beyond antibody drugs, the company said Wednesday.

Samsung Biologics (207940) said Monday that its Swiss subsidiary, Samsung Peptide AG, published a tender offer document to acquire all shares of PolyPeptide Group AG at CHF 44.31 apiece, a deal worth about ₩2,706.2bn (~$1.46bn), according to a regulatory filing.
Samsung Biologics (207940) will issue 2,270,000 new shares to raise ₩3,000.9bn, the company said in a filing on Friday, after its board approved the rights offering that day with four independent directors present.
