Corporate dollar deposits at five major Korean banks reached a record $63.302 billion on September 3. Yonhap reported Sunday that total dollar deposits at those banks reached $76.983 billion, also a record.
The total increased from $76.340 billion at the end of August over the first three business days of September. Individual customers held $13.681 billion in dollar deposits, the highest balance since February 2022.
