Korean Online Stores Face October Deadline for Review Policy Disclosures - Newsis

Korean online stores must disclose how they manage consumer reviews from October 22, Newsis reported September 7. The Fair Trade Commission issued implementation guidance covering who may post reviews and how long they remain available.

The required information also includes rating criteria and the effects attached to each rating level used by a store. Businesses must publish review deletion rules and explain how users can challenge the removal of their reviews.

A three-month grace period ends on October 21. NAVER Corporation (035420): The company's market capitalisation was ₩33.2 trillion at Monday's close.
