HYUNDAI MOTOR CO Finance Unit Begins Indian Dealer Lending - report

HYUNDAI MOTOR CO (005380) affiliate Hyundai Capital began dealer financing operations through its converted Indian finance company, Dailian reported Monday. The September 7 report said it obtained an Indian nonbank financial company license in March.

Vehicle inventory loans run for up to 360 days, while facility financing terms range from 24 to 60 months. The operation links its system with Hyundai and KIA CORPORATION sales and inventory data for dealer credit assessment.

Parts financing is available for periods of 60 to 90 days under the disclosed product terms. The company's market capitalisation was ₩80.5 trillion at Monday's close.
