Ecopro BM is the largest cathode-material maker listed on Korea's KOSDAQ market, supplying high-nickel cathodes to cell makers Samsung SDI and SK On. Those cells go into vehicles sold in North America, so the company's plans hinge on US content and sourcing rules. It has been building capacity outside Korea specifically to qualify its output for American incentives. It is the purest listed bet on Korean high-nickel cathode technology.
