Ecopro BM cuts rights-offering price 26% to ₩89,500

Ecopro BM (247540) set the first (provisional) price for its ₩1.2 trillion rights offering at KRW 89,500 a share, the company said in a filing, down 26.1% from the KRW 121,200 estimated when the raise was announced on June 30. The final price will be confirmed October 12, with subscription October 15-16 and payment October 23.

Parent company Ecopro (086520) separately re-filed the same update as a subsidiary disclosure, as Korean rules require, and trimmed how the proceeds will be used: the portion earmarked for buying securities in other companies falls to KRW 886.1 billion from KRW 915.0 billion, while separate facility-fund and working-capital lines shown in the original filing are both zeroed out. Ecopro has committed to subscribing for more than 120% of its own allocation.

Ecopro BM shares closed at KRW 108,000 on September 2, already below the revised issue price's implied discount range. The KRW 1.2 trillion raise equals about 11.4% of Ecopro BM's KRW 10.57 trillion market capitalization.

10.57 trillion won market cap.
