Korea Delays Higher Delisting Thresholds and Allows Smaller Market Transfers - Newsis

Korea delayed higher market value thresholds for delisting by six months, Newsis reported Friday after a government market review meeting. The next increases will take effect in July 2027 instead of January 2027 under the revised schedule for both stock markets.

The new minimum market values are ₩30 billion for KOSDAQ companies and ₩50 billion for companies on the main KOSPI market. Firms meeting financial conditions can transfer without final liquidation trading to KONEX, a stock market for smaller businesses.

The changes cover the KOSDAQ market where Alteogen Inc. (196170) trades, as well as the main KOSPI market. The company's market capitalisation was ₩20.1 trillion at Friday's close.
