NAVER Corporation's (035420) cloud unit won a government cybersecurity artificial intelligence project, Korea Economic Daily reported Thursday. Its consortium includes 33 organizations, and the development period runs for ten months through July 2027 under the project.
Members include LG CNS Co., Ltd. (064400), LG Uplus (032640), and subsidiaries of Korea Electric Power Corporation (015760). The consortium has secured about 830 terabytes of source data and plans tests across seven critical industry sectors.
The cloud unit plans to combine its HyperCLOVA X model with LG's large language model for the cybersecurity project. The company's market capitalisation was ₩32.5 trillion at Friday's close.
