DB Insurance has set a goal of returning 50% of net earnings to shareholders by 2030. The plan includes per-share dividends rising at least 10% each year plus share repurchases. This raises its previous 35% return target.
The company is raising its prior 2028 target from 35% to 50% by 2030. This shows how Korean insurance firms are maturing and returning more cash to owners. Regulators now allow higher payout percentages for mature insurers.
DB Insurance operates property-casualty insurance across auto, fire, liability and specialty insurance segments throughout South Korea.
