Korea Gas signs hydrogen standards agreement with API - Newsis

Korea Gas Corporation (036460) signed a hydrogen and low-carbon technology agreement with the American Petroleum Institute, Newsis reported Friday. The organizations signed the memorandum at Korea Gas's Daegu headquarters on September 3 after discussing future cooperation areas.

They will work on global standards and technical exchanges covering hydrogen, low-carbon technology and natural gas. Korea Gas hydrogen head Oh Kwon-taek and API executive Anchal Liddar attended the signing.

The company's market capitalisation was ₩3.2 trillion at Friday's close. Korea Gas currently operates 57 hydrogen fueling stations and two hub-type hydrogen production bases.
