Sungho Electronics Corp. (043260) and affiliate Seoryong Electronics invested in fintech company Finger, Korea Economic Daily reported Friday. Finger issued 2,609,149 new shares in a ₩30 billion private placement to Seoryong, making it the largest shareholder.
Seoryong also bought ₩38.5 billion of Finger convertible bonds, while Sungho purchased ₩20 billion of warrants. Finger later acquired 79.48% of industrial robotics company Mikello Robotics and received stakes in three manufacturing companies.
The company's market capitalisation was ₩1.2 trillion at Friday's close. Finger's issued shares rose from 9,406,568 to 12,015,717 after the private placement.
