Hyundai's ₩9 trillion Saemangeum project advances toward review - report

HYUNDAI MOTOR CO (005380) is advancing permit work for its planned Saemangeum investment, Dailian reported Thursday. The company signed an investment agreement in February covering AI, robotics and hydrogen facilities.

The overall plan carries an announced value of about ₩9 trillion. A building review for the planned ₩5.8 trillion AI data center was scheduled for September, according to the report.

The company's market capitalisation was ₩78.5 trillion at Friday's close. President Lee Jae-myung and Hyundai Motor Group chair Chung Euisun attended the February agreement ceremony for the ₩9 trillion plan.
