Samsung reports 38 certified waste recycling cases - report

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (005930) had obtained 38 circular-resource certifications across its workplaces by August 2026, Dailian reported Friday. Samsung said it reduced annual waste by 6,859 tons in 2025. Its device-solutions unit has reused production materials since 2019, while its appliance operations also use recovered materials in selected products.

The company's market capitalisation was ₩1,493.7 trillion at Friday's close. Samsung's disclosed certification count covered 38 cases across its operations as of August 2026.
