Hankook Tire gives tires to Italian Red Cross - report

Hankook Tire & Technology Co., Ltd. (161390) will donate tires and funding to the Italian Red Cross, Dailian reported Friday. This is the company's second consecutive year of support for the humanitarian organization and its emergency vehicle fleet.

The donated tires will be installed on emergency-response, rescue and medical-transport vehicles used across Italy. The additional funding will support field monitoring, assessment, search and rescue work, and responder safety during operations.

The company's market capitalisation was ₩8.1 trillion at Friday's close. The Italian Red Cross will use the tires on vehicles assigned to emergency, rescue and patient-transport duties.
