KEPCO discounts autumn public EV charging rates - report

Korea Electric Power Corporation (015760) will apply a power-charge discount to government-operated public fast chargers, Dailian reported Thursday. The seasonal program runs from September 5 through October 31 during specified daytime hours on weekends and holidays.

KEPCO will discount electricity usage charges by 50% from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Separate government reductions will also apply at about 9,600 public chargers during the same period.

The company's market capitalisation was ₩20.6 trillion at Friday's close. Rates for 30-to-50-kW chargers fall from ₩307.2 per kWh to ₩210 on Saturdays and ₩221.8 on Sundays and holidays.
