A healthcare unit of Kakao Corp. (035720) received a silver sustainability rating from EcoVadis, Dailian reported Friday. The result places Kakao Healthcare within the top 15% of companies assessed by the global rating provider.
EcoVadis evaluates environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement under international standards. The French organization says companies in more than 180 countries use its assessments for supplier and contract reviews.
The company's market capitalisation was ₩16 trillion at Friday's close. EcoVadis has assessed more than 150,000 companies, and its silver category covers the top 15%.
