Shinsegae chair attends US advanced-industry school launch - report

Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (004170) chair Chung Yong-jin attended the US Foundry School launch in Washington, Dailian reported Friday. The US State Department hosted the advanced-industry workforce event on September 3 with government and business leaders.

Chung attended at the invitation of US Vice President JD Vance and the State Department, according to Shinsegae. Participants discussed cooperation in AI supply chains and training for manufacturing and other advanced industries.
