A securities unit of Kakao Pay Corp. (377300) launched a stock-prize event for new KakaoTalk channel subscribers, Yonhap reported Friday. Customers must apply through the event page in the Kakao Pay Securities app after first adding the channel.
Ten applicants will each receive one Samsung Electronics share through a drawing. The event runs through September 30, with winners receiving individual KakaoTalk channel notices during October after the drawing is completed.
The company's market capitalisation was ₩6.4 trillion at Friday's close. Kakao Pay Securities said its KakaoTalk channel passed one million subscribers in June 2026.
